Ranked Ist in Uttar Pradesh & re-accredited by NAAC in 2011, Raghunath Girls’ (P.G), College, was established in year 1929 by “Kripa Devi Trust Fund Society”.
Raghunath Girls’ Post Graduate College is the premier all women college of Western U.P.,Meerut, known for its high standards in teaching and research and attracts eminent scholars to its faculty. The college had a modest beginning as a school , with just five girl students .

Deptt. of Sanskrit is committed to create an environment within which learning, teaching and inter-acting becomes a process of pleasure. Students are being provided stimulus to tap their fullest potentials aimed at to maximize their skills.
‘Excellence is education’ is our watchword. ‘Value-addition with conservation or our traditions’ is our goal for which our efforts gain continuity.
Our motto is to spread the fragrance of our culture all over. Sanskrit, the mother of all languages, is the source of creating ‘Global Brotherhood;
The philosophy inherent to the literature is the only answer to the contemporary threats to the humanity. Therefore, we are not bound by the peripherals of our syllabi and curricula, but through the seminars, symposia, visiting professors, socio-cultural inter-actions, we try to reach not only to the common man of the society but also to all the sectors of the society globally.
Educating India with cultural values & is our vision. Preserving our Heritage is our ultimate objective. Making future better than past is our aim.
