To promoted research culture amongst faculty members & student, the college always supports & encourages its lectures to take up research work. All the lectures are either registered for Ph.D. or have been awarded their Ph.D. degrees. Some of the lectures have availed financial assistance from UGC under Teachers fellowship scheme and under minor research projects. Certain facilities like laboratory, reference books and adjustment in the departmental time table are made available to lectures pursuing research. |

| *The college has registered 96 full time and part time research student under the supervision of about thirty four teachers. Two students are working with fellowship from ICHR. |

| * Teachers are also members of different research Journals and organizations like Indian Science Congress Association, Indian Society of
Gandhi an Studies, Society of Classical Music etc. |

| *Students are vanguards & forerunners in building a secure society for India. They are made aware of their social obligations to educate society in some vital aspects. Extension work on community problems like AIDS, over population health and hygiene, polio- drops campaign, awareness, by on energy conservation etc. are in the adopted villages and in adjoining areas of the city NSS students. Food adulteration & testing, environment awareness, adult education & other community problem are made aware to the village people by the students of different subject Societies like Botany, |
