Ranked Ist in Uttar Pradesh & re-accredited by NAAC in 2011, Raghunath Girls’ (P.G), College, was established in year 1929 by “Kripa Devi Trust Fund Society”.
Raghunath Girls’ Post Graduate College is the premier all women college of Western U.P.,Meerut, known for its high standards in teaching and research and attracts eminent scholars to its faculty. The college had a modest beginning as a school , with just five girl students .

To develop character, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and the ideals of selfless service amongst the youth of the country.
To create a human resource of organized, trained and motivated youth, to provide leadership in all walks of life and always available for the service of the nation.
To provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the Armed Forces.
 
History –
N.C.C. was established in 1953. This sub-unit had two platoons of 105 cadets upto 1998. In 1999, one more Platoon of 50 cadets was raised and in 2007 one more platoon of 50 cadets was raised. So now, we have one & full company of 160 cadets and one platoon of 50 cadets – Total 210 Cadets.

Activities of College N.C.C. Cadets –
Inter Bn. Competition Banner was won many times.
Best Cdt. of Meerut Group was selected from our College.
Many Cdts. Recommended in SSB Allahabad, Banglore, Bhopal etc.
Many Cadets were earmarked for Youth Exchange Programme.
N.C.C. Cadets performed at stage with Mrs. Malini Awasthi, renowned folk and classical singer.
The organization ‘Gyanoday’ has included Cdts’. social service programme in his newsletter and Newsreel.
Two Running Trophies were sponsored by Blossoms for The Outstanding Cadet and Gyanoday for the Best Platoon of College.
This N.C.C. sub unit was especially appreciated by NAAC & CPE Team.
One Day camp is introduced at College level to develop leadership qualities, to bear responsibilities, to face Service Selection Board (SSB), to know about camps, Inter Group Competition Camp (IGC), Republic Day Camp (RDC) etc. This is the camp of Cdts, by Cdts and for Cdts.
Every year Cdts plant trees, donate Blood, educate the adult & illiterate, controlled traffic, participated in Pulse Polio Mission & AIDS awareness Rally, Cycle expedition, contribute for National calamities like Tsunami tragedy, Gujrat earth quack, far armed forces, served in Swasthya Mela in government Hospitals & Military Hospitals, visit orphanages, old homes, donate copy – pencil – rubber – sharpner, clothes – soap – sports items and other necessary things and their refreshment to children of slum area, orphanages and old persons.
Visit are arranged for Cadets at Socio-historical religious places like Hastinapur, Sardhana, Mawana Sugar Mill, Newspaper Cell & Jail etc.
Talks are arranged for Career Councilling, Personality development, SSB entrance etc.
Cdts. are taught for Fire fighting, Civil Defence & Self defence.
